Provide day-to-day financial support to Sales (pricing, promotions, deals, negotiations)
Review and challenge sales proposals for profitability and strategic alignment
Lead approval process for pricing, discounts, rebates, and commercial terms
Support mass price increase implementation and validate pricing in systems
Develop profitability analyses (by customer, product, channel, etc.)
Monitor margin performance and identify improvement opportunities
Conduct scenario modeling for deals, promotions, and revenue strategies
Prepare monthly sales performance packs (variance, mix, forecast accuracy)
Lead preparation of management and executive financial reports
Track performance vs. budget/forecast and identify risks & opportunities
Partner with Sales on rolling forecasts and annual budgets
Oversee accruals for rebates, discounts, and incentives (accuracy & completeness)
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations
Support audits and implement corrective actions
Validate sales data, revenue recognition, and margin reporting
Oversee receivable-related tasks (e.g., billing accuracy, dispute resolution)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Managerial Accounting
CPA or CMA certification (preferred)
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights
Financial modeling expertise
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
Solid understanding of revenue drivers, pricing, and margins
2–3 years in commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or related roles
Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Commercial teams
Ability to build trust with Sales while maintaining financial discipline
Excellent communication skills with ability to challenge constructively
Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations (not just data)
Leadership or supervisory exposure is an advantage
