Mindanao State University-General Santos (MSU GenSan) continues to strengthen its commitment to innovation and academic excellence as it actively digitalizes its campus under the “SMART MSU” initiative. This ongoing transformation aims to modernize teaching, learning, and campus operations by integrating advanced digital technologies that support blended and technology-enabled education.

A key component of this initiative is the implementation of Samsung Interactive Displays, designed to enhance classroom engagement and support modern instructional methods. These smart boards offer features such as wireless content sharing, multi-touch interaction, and split-screen functionality, enabling instructors to deliver more dynamic, collaborative, and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.

As part of Phase 2 of the digital transformation, MSU–GenSan has conducted faculty knowledge transfer sessions to ensure educators are well-equipped to maximize the capabilities of the new technology. These training activities empower faculty members to confidently integrate interactive displays into their teaching practices, fostering a more effective and student-centered learning environment.

Complementing the training is the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, which focuses on validating the functionality, usability, and reliability of the Samsung Interactive Displays in real classroom settings. This step ensures that the technology meets user needs and performs seamlessly before full-scale deployment. Through this structured approach, MSU–GenSan reinforces its vision of a future-ready campus, a campus that embraces digital innovation to enhance teaching quality, improve learning outcomes, and prepare students for the demands of the digital age.
