At Lancaster Technology and Development Corporation (LTDC), working alongside institutions that invest in the future of education is always meaningful. One recent milestone with Mindanao State University–General Santos reflects how collaboration can translate into real progress for students and educators alike.

On March 2, 2026, the University formally held a turnover ceremony at the New College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM) Building. The event marked the completion of five E-Classrooms and three E-Laboratories for CNSM, along with an E-Bulletin Board for the College of Education. These facilities are part of a broader effort to improve how learning is delivered across the campus.

Representatives from the University community, faculty, and partners gathered to witness the handover. Speaking on behalf of the ICT Office, Mr. Acsan Asgar welcomed attendees and shared the intent behind the project. He noted that the initiative focuses on strengthening digital infrastructure and ensuring that classrooms are equipped to support the needs of today’s learning environment.

The formal turnover was led by Christian Jay Viray of LTDC, signifying the completion of the newly equipped classrooms and laboratory spaces. For LTDC, the moment represented more than a finished project. It reflected a shared commitment to helping academic institutions adapt to the changing demands of education.

University leadership also highlighted the significance of the development. In his acceptance message, Chancellor Shidik T. Abantas shared that the new facilities are part of a larger effort across the campus, with dozens of E-Classrooms currently in progress. This signals a sustained push to integrate technology into everyday teaching and learning.

Dr. Mishell D. Laawas, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, emphasized that facilities play an essential role in supporting academic quality. While curriculum and instruction remain at the core of education, access to functional and relevant learning spaces helps ensure that both students and faculty can fully engage in the process.

The completion of these E-Classrooms and E-Laboratories stands as a step forward in building a more connected and responsive academic environment at MSU GenSan. For LTDC, being part of this journey reinforces the importance of partnerships that focus on long-term impact. As the University continues to expand its digital capabilities, initiatives like this help lay the groundwork for a more accessible and effective learning experience.
