The UP Delta Lambda Sigma Sorority Alumnae Association (DLSAA) celebrated a significant milestone as it marked its 80th Anniversary through a meaningful Golf Tournament held during Women’s Month on March 18, 2026, at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
Founded in 1946, the Delta Lambda Sigma Sorority has built a strong legacy of socio-civic engagement, leadership, and nation-building. Guided by its mission to empower women through education and service, the organization continues to make a tangible impact within the University of the Philippines and the wider community, most notably through the DLSAA Scholarship Program and other initiatives supporting students and the University.

Carrying the theme “Illuminate: A Legacy of Light,” the anniversary celebration highlighted the Sorority’s continuing dedication to advancing education, service, and community development. The Golf Tournament served both as a commemorative gathering and a fundraising initiative, bringing together partners and supporters in advancing shared advocacies, with Lancaster Technology and Development Corporation (LTDC) honored to support and take part in the meaningful occasion. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the DLSAA Scholarship Program, providing assistance to deserving students of the University of the Philippines, while also supporting the installation of lamp posts in dimly lit areas of the University campus to enhance safety and security for students.

In a notable highlight of the tournament, LTDC’s very own MJ Ozamis, emerged as an awardee of the Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive, demonstrating strong performance and commendable sportsmanship throughout the event while playing alongside fellow LTDC leaders.
LTDC takes pride in being part of this commemorative initiative, as it strongly aligns with the organization’s commitment to supporting programs that create meaningful, long-term impact within communities.
